How to spot a fake Louis Vuitton bag?

You can easily spot or identify a fake LV bag just by looking at the handles. The sewing and the leather are easy to spot. Some people say that when the Louis Vuitton canvas is upside on one side it's fake, it is not true. The speedy and papillon bags are made using one piece of canvas that wraps around the bag. The LV is right side up in the front and upside down in the back. Another way to spot a fake LV, if you are able to handle the bag, is the LV is not a solid yellow and it's really hard see but it's made up of thick lines. The exception would be on the Trouville monogram multicolore bag, the LVs are solid color.

These are real LV bags. Have to admit I purchased LV luggage through ebay and they were real LV, these were vintage bags and the seller had pictures of the handles. These were made in US by license for LV and have the paper label on the inside (not a serial# tag.) Real LV bags don't come with a tag that has the serial number and some bags do not have a serial number on them. One thing I really hate is that there are so many fakes out there people assume I have a fake until they take a closer look. I would not sell my lowest priced LV bag, the speedy bag, for less than $300 used so no one should expect to find a real LV bag, unless it's in terrible shape, for less than $300. Another way you can spot a fake is there typically is not a leather patch on the inside with the LV name. If you walk into an LV store they don't charge to simply let you know whether or not the bag is real. Hope I've helped anyone who's looking to buy an LV bag on ebay.
