How to Identify a Fake Louis Vuitton Bag Replica? At the last estate auction I went to ( highly reputable auction company ), up for bidding was about 35 designer handbags. 99% of them looked genuine to me, but none were actually "new". Most of these handbags were of the vintage class. Some of the ones I bought( Enid Collins, Susan Gail, Chanel, and Walbarg ) were from the 60's and beyond, and seemed real to me. Since appraisal ( private company ) was on site I went for it. I wanted to ask anyone here to please look at the purses I currently have up, and if anyone can tell me more info on them, and how to tell a real vintage one from a fake one, I'd really appreciate it. I get tons of questions from wary buyers, and I can only tell them what I know and was told since most of what I get are from an era where there may not have been ID cards for the bags, just a signature design pattern indicating it as a certain brand. At a web site I bought a fake Dior ( it looked fine, good seams and correct design but one fatal mistake-not leather, and not stated in the ad. ) Since then each ad I do is as correct and factual for buyer protection. If you want a real Chanel the only way to guarantee if it's real is to go to a Chanel store. I have seen hundreds of Chanel bags on Ebay and I have yet to see a real one. Don't risk it. As for the speedy's - they may be real but if you only spend a little on then the chances are that they are fake too. If you like, take a few photos of the bags (inside and out) and email them to me and I will have a look. Or alternatively, if you are near a Louis Vuitton store, take the bags in and let them have a look. They will know immediately. Dead giveaways are poor stitching, and mismatched seams, the LV upsidown on one side, cheap looking zip, cheap dust bag, cheap paper tag on the bag when you first get it.
